Rockford Fosgate has been cranking out the latest and greatest in high quality car audio equipment. Jim Fosgate's business that originated out of his garage in Arizona, has now grown into an audio equipment empire that also includes providing boats and marine vehicles with superior stereo equipment as well. He built his company realized the audio needs of a moving vehicle were far different than those for a home stereo system. Rockford Fosgate Subwoofers

Rockford Fosgate (RF) has developed some of the most powerful subwoofers on the market today. Whatever the audio need may be, whether it is improved sound quality, window-rattling bass, or competition sound, Jim Fosgate’s company has their customers covered. There are three levels of RF in production today; the Prime, Punch and Power series. Each bring a different level of sound to any system.
The Prime series is the entry-level series for those simply looking to add some additional depth to their sound. There are roughly 10 different subwoofers in this series ranging from 10” to 12” subs. Moving up to the Punch series, this line carries the name of Fosgate’s initial invention, and provides every bit of the Punch it boasts. There are over 25 different subwoofers in the Punch line ranging from 8” to 15”. Finally, there is the Power series that will push any system over the top and dominate any competition in which they are involved. With more than 15 subwoofers available from 10” to 15” subs, the Power series is a force to with which to be reckoned.

Rockford Fosgate Amplifiers

Beginning with the creation of amplifiers, Jim Fosgate is a firm believer in the “dance with the one that brought you” theory. Similar to Fosgate’s subwoofer line, the amplifiers are also available in the Prime, Punch and Power Series. Also similar to the subwoofers, the Prime Series is the amplifier for those just starting out with the car audio systems. The Punch series is all of the power RF Amplifiers can bring and then some. Partnering power with affordability, the Punch series is the best value within the car audio industry. The Power series is great in that it brings all of the power the Punch series provides, but does so in a compact package making it easy to install underneath most car seats.

Rockford Fosgate Speakers

Between the Prime, Punch and Power series, Rockford Fosgate offers nearly 50 different speakers for their customers to choose from. The three series remain the same for sound quality and expectations as described above, but the variety of speaker sizes increase greatly from one series to the next.
The Prime series offers 1” tweeters, 5” and 6.5” door mounted speakers, 4”, 5” and 6.5” rear speakers, and both 6”x8” and 6”x9” fill range speakers as well. The Punch and Power series offer each of these varieties as well, but then go above and beyond offering more custom fit speakers for just about any car audio set up.

Rockford Fosgate Marine Audio

Just because their consumers take to the waves, does not mean they should have to leave their superior audio back in their automobile. This is why Jim Fosgate took the ingenuity he placed into his amplifiers and car speakers and developed the Rockford Fosgate M2 Marine Grade series for awesome audio enjoyment on the high seas as well. Offering speakers from 6” to 12” speakers, the M2 Marine Grade line packs the same punch many RF fans have come to expect over the years.
